CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES ๐
Ingredients:
100g butter
175g sugar
1 egg
a pinch of salt
a few drops of vanilla essence
200g flour
4g baking powder
100g chocolate chips
Preparation:
1. Beat the butter at room temperature with the sugar until pale, add the vanilla essence, a pinch of salt, and the egg, and mix well. Sift the flour with the baking powder and add it to the previous mixture. Finally, add the chocolate chips. Form a soft ball of dough without overkneading. Let rest in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
2. Roll out the dough to a thickness of half a centimeter, cut out circles, and place them on a greased baking sheet. Bake at 190ยบ C for about 7 minutes. Tips: You'll know they're ready when the edges of the cookies begin to turn lightly golden. It's important not to wait until they're golden brown on top, or they'll become very hard as they cool.
3. It's important to let the dough rest in the refrigerator so it holds its shape once baked. To roll out the dough, you can use a little flour on the work surface, but be careful not to use too much, or the cookies will end up looking like rocks.
4. You can use either chocolate chips, available in almost all supermarkets, or chopped chocolate bars.
